When making my artwork, I have trusted intuition and followed inspiration.
I have studied the connections of visual memory, sometimes also the randomness and comedy of these connections.
I have been interested in the beauty, tenderness, fragility and transience of the human body. Just like flowers.
The flowers in my paintings have symbolized subtle phenomena such as perfection, gratitude, humility.
Sometimes they have denoted the process of giving or devotion.
Trees have come to my paintings as old friends or sacred strong supports.
When making spatial objects and installations, I have used fragrant hay and a sloshing plow, bringing them out
from their usual natural context and personal memories of the past.
Lately I have been exploring the deeper interaction of sound, poetry and different languages with the physical process,
during which a form or image is born.
